I am an anthropologist through and through, now retired, but I lived for decades in Mexico and worked in a number of research institutions and universities, carried out research in many parts of Mexico. In the course of this life, and when I moved back to the US, I traveled throughout Mexico.
I currently live in Oaxaca, Mexico and Atlanta, Georgia, and go diving several times a year in Akumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
I like to see things, learn new things and do so in an off-the-beaten track kind of way.
Like a formerly grand beaux artes building now fading into the sunset, I am lucky to be in a position where I can start a new life comfortably, evaluate my histories, concentrate my knowledge of and work in Oaxaca and on immigrant rights, and consider the future.
